What we do

A cloud render farm built for Blender.

We are a cloud render farm built around Blender and nothing else. Our own orchestration runs a cluster of custom CPU and GPU nodes as a single farm, and that is what lets us take on the work a workstation cannot reasonably finish: long frame ranges, dense scenes, and deadlines that have already moved once. You send us a project, we render it, and the finished frames are waiting in your dashboard afterwards for 7 days. Here is how our Blender render farm works, step by step.

What matters most to us is that you know what you are getting before you agree to it. Every job begins with a free evaluation of your own project on the farm, rather than a number out of a formula, and it comes back with a fixed price, a delivery time and four test frames to check. You pick one of three speeds, and the figure you were shown is the figure you pay. Every version of Blender is supported, third-party add-ons included, and your files stay isolated for the life of the job and are deleted with it.

How it works

Hand off the render in a few clicks, and get back to work.

Prepare
Your File

Use our Blender Add-on LaunchControl to automatically prepare your project for upload, or follow our guide to manually set it up for rendering.

Why choose us

From 3D artists, for 3D artists.

We built this farm for our own freelance work first, and we still use it that way. Every feature here exists because one of us needed it on a deadline: drag and drop instead of a submission form, automatic version and settings detection instead of a checklist, four test frames before you commit instead of an invoice afterwards.

Your project stays isolated for its whole life on the farm. The machines that render it are destroyed when they finish, and the project and its frames are deleted together when you delete the job, or seven days after it completes.

Easy Project Setup

Drag, Drop, and Render

Upload your .blend file, a zip or the project folder with our simple drag-and-drop feature. No complex setup or configuration required: our system automatically detects the version and settings to get you started quickly.

Test Frames for Verification

Ensure Accuracy Before Rendering

We provide 4 test frames for each project, allowing you to verify materials, lighting, and settings before starting the full render. This way, you can be confident that your project will look exactly as intended, avoiding costly mistakes.

Fixed Price and Render Time

Know the Price Upfront

Every project gets a fixed price and a render time from a real evaluation of your own scene. The price you see is the price you pay, so the render goes into your budget, and into what you charge your client, before it starts.

Comprehensive User Dashboard

Manage All Your Renders in One Place

Keep track of ongoing renders, manage projects, and download files from a single, user-friendly dashboard. All completed files are stored for 7 days, giving you ample time to download and review your work at your convenience.

Measured performance

The speed of a Blender render farm built from custom nodes, each pairing a strong CPU with a very strong GPU, working together as one cluster on your project. The charts below time published Blender scenes on our tiers against a desktop and a laptop card.

Modern flexibility

Render from anywhere, with any device

Evaluate a project, send the price and render time to your client or team, and start the render from your phone once they say yes: a pending evaluation waits seven days. Once the project is uploaded your computer can be off. Nothing runs on your side, and there is nothing to watch while it renders.

Pricing

Big performance, fair price

You pick the speed. Three tiers, each with a fixed price and delivery time quoted before you commit. Nothing waits behind anything else: the tier decides how much of the farm your render runs on, not where it sits in a queue.

Economy

>2×faster

than a single RTX 4090

Lowest cost per frame. For work that can wait overnight.

Standard

>8×faster

than a single RTX 4090

The default balance of speed and cost.

Express

>16×faster

than a single RTX 4090

Fastest delivery. For the deadline you are already late for.

Every quote is generated from your own project after a free evaluation, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions,
answered.

How does the rendering process work?

Upload your project in the browser, or send it from Blender with LaunchControl. The farm reads your Blender version and render settings from the file, evaluates your scene for free, and quotes a fixed price and a delivery time for each tier, with four test frames for you to check. You pick one, and the finished frames appear in your dashboard.

What 3D software do you support?

Blender, every version, and nothing else for now. We plan to add other 3D software gradually.

Does BoltRenders support third-party Blender add-ons?

Yes. If an add-on takes part in the render, submit through our LaunchControl add-on (Blender 4.0 or newer), which packs every add-on the render needs into the project. If an add-on only builds geometry, bake it down and the file renders on its own.

How long will my files be stored?

Your finished frames stay in your dashboard for 7 days. Then the project and its frames are deleted with the job, or sooner if you delete it yourself.

Is there customer support available?

Yes. Support is by email, 24/7, and replies come within a few hours at most.
